Jeff Dwight

Residency Counselor

Jeff Dwight came to Meadow Ridge as a residency counselor after a 28-year career in advertising sales and marketing.

His love of service along with his business background made him ideally suited for the position.  He loves helping clients bring the wide-ranging lifestyle and economic decision-making criteria for moving to a life plan community together.

“It is so personally rewarding to help my clients make a comprehensive and considerate decision through our interactions,” he says.

As a graduate of St. Anselm College in New Hampshire with a degree in Business and Economics, Jeff spent the majority of his career in leadership roles for business-to-business trade and special interest consumer print and internet publishing companies.  He worked with diverse industries that included variety merchandise; interactive entertainment; epicurean; shelter; and home-building and design.  His client relations experience spans small businesses to Fortune 500-level companies.

Late in his career Jeff decided he wanted to make a change.  Residency Sales Counselor and associate Laura Bennett, a former college roommate of Jeff’s wife who had recently started working at Meadow Ridge, told him about the opportunity, which he promptly reviewed and then sought an interview.

“I am fortunate to once again land in a place where I’m extremely happy,” he says. And as a firm proponent of life plan communities, Jeff finds it natural to talk about the features and benefits with prospective residents.

Jeff pursues several interests in his spare time, including music (he spent time at the Berklee College of Music in Boston), history, golf, biking, hiking and water sports. He is currently an active member of the music ministry at Sacred Heart Church in Southbury.

Jeff lives in Southbury with his wife Chris.  They have two daughters.  When not at home in Connecticut, Jeff and his family enjoy spending time at their home on Cape Cod.
