Natasha Lubczenko from CT BUZZ on WTNH recently spotlighted the Meadow Ridge Library, highlighting its partnership with the Mark Twain Library and how it keeps residents connected through books, learning, and community.

 

A Welcoming Hub for Lifelong Learning

The feature spotlighted the Meadow Ridge library through the voices of residents who help shape it. Susan Mason, Co-Chairman of the Meadow Ridge Library Committee and resident, shared how the library has become one of the most unique and inviting spaces within the Redding senior living community, offering residents 24/7 access to reading, learning and connection.

A Meaningful Community Partnership

The segment also highlighted Meadow Ridge’s collaboration with the Mark Twain Library, featuring Margaret Brown, Trustee of the Mark Twain Library and Meadow Ridge resident, along with Erin Dummeyer, Library Director. Together, they shared how weekly librarian visits, book clubs, online resources and volunteer efforts like the Mark Twain Library Book Fair connect generations and celebrate Redding’s literary legacy.
