Senior Nutrition and Dining

Indulge yourself with dining choices to suit every mood.

Seniors seated at the dining table at the Meadow Ridge senior living community

In a community of residents who have dined at some of the finest restaurants in the world — and some who are excellent cooks in their own right — our dining experience simply has to be top notch. Our Executive Chef and our entire culinary team are dedicated to preparing healthful, delicious gourmet meals that are as appealing to the eye as they are to the palate.

Farm-to-Table Philosophy

We’re committed to the farm-to-table philosophy of using locally grown and sourced food whenever possible. We’re proud to serve fresh, organic produce grown on our very own resident-run farm and prepared to perfection in our kitchens. Founded in 2011, the farm takes advantage of our location’s rich, fertile soil and provides an outdoor volunteer opportunity for residents who enjoy gardening. During the growing season, we harvest and serve asparagus, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, kale, squash, zucchini and herbs, as well as a variety of fresh fruits such as apples, berries, peaches, and pears.

A complimentary continental breakfast is served each morning in the The Bistro, our new dining space that opened in 2018. This is a favorite time to share coffee and homemade banana bread with a friend in our light, bright, art-filled café with courtyard views, or pick up a nutritious muffin on the go. Or if the weather is nice, enjoy your breakfast in our new outdoor seating off The Bistro. Whatever your morning plans, you’ll always find an enticing spread of fresh fruit, breads, cereals, yogurt and beverages ready and waiting for you.

Lunch and Dinner

As a Meadow Ridge resident, your meal plan will include your choice of lunch or dinner each day at one of our restaurants. One evening, you may choose to enjoy fine dining in our full-service dining room, where you’ll find white tablecloths, fine china and elegant flatware along with both seasonal and traditional menu selections. The following day you may choose a more casual meal in The Bistro, a bright and inviting full-service café connected to the Atrium. You might even decide to “get it to go” as you head out on your next adventure. Of course, when weather permits, you also have the option of eating outside on the adjoining patio as you take in the spectacular view. No matter when or where you want to eat, the choice is always yours.
