Congratulations to Meadow Ridge residents Jack and Rilla Neafsey for their recent recognition by Stepping Stones Children’s Museum for their generous support of the museum’s award-winning educational and exhibit programming.

On March 24th, 2023, the museum celebrated Jack and Rilla Neafsey, alongside Jennifer Toll, for their unwavering dedication to the museum’s mission of providing educational opportunities for children aged 10 and under. The event raised funds to support the museum’s educational programs and outreach efforts, ensuring that every child, regardless of their background or ability, can experience the joy of learning and discovery.

Jack Neafsey, the director of the Stepping Stones Children’s Museum for the past 20 years, has been instrumental in expanding its community impact throughout Connecticut and beyond. As a nonprofit organization, the Stepping Stones Children’s Museum relies on philanthropic leaders like Jack and Rilla Neafsey to expand its community impact. Their contributions have helped provide hands-on exhibits, engaging educational programming, and mission-critical community outreach efforts, such as the Open Arms accessibility initiative, making it possible for every child, family, and school to access the museum and its educational benefits.
