Hear from those who know us best.

“Our hope was always that our Mom, age 95, would be able to remain living with family for her whole life. After 3 hospitalizations in a 7 week time frame, we could no longer provide the skilled nursing care that she needed on a regular basis. She spent the last three months of her life at Ridge Crest at Meadow Ridge. There is no way to express the incredible gratefulness our family has for Ridge Crest. It was difficult to watch our Mom’s health decline. But the care she received there gave us comfort and peace of mind.  Every staff member whether nurses, doctors, aides or wait staff treated our Mom with compassion, patience, dignity and respect. And this was not unique to her as I observed this over and over again as I watched them interact with the other residents there. Over the last ten years my Mom had to go for short stays at three other rehab places–two in Pennsylvania and one other in Connecticut. So we have a frame of reference for comparison. Ridge Crest is so superior in every way. If you aren’t able to keep your loved one at home, this is where you want them to be. Thank you Ridge Crest for everything you did for our Mom.” – Kathy G.

“My experience with Dr. Waddell and thereafter Physical Therapy at Meadow Ridge could not have gone more smoothly. HSS was a high-tech pleasure. Post-op, they moved me to Ridge Crest for a week as an in-patient and then back to my apartment for ongoing treatments as an out-patient. The staff at Physical Therapy is wonderful. Attentive, so friendly, and exuding confidence as they patiently brought me back to full mobility in a relatively short period of daily, then twice weekly strengthening sessions. The staff is deep in talent and I found that working with a variety of such capable therapists had distinct advantages. Several months following surgery, I found that while I could not yet play soccer, my ability to kick butt was fully restored.” – S. Goldman

“Thank you is such a small word to describe what I feel about the staff at Meadow Ridge. You welcomed and cared for my Uncle in the most professional and warm manner that went above and beyond. He immediately felt right “at home” and I never had to worry about him being uncomfortable or not being cared for properly. You all are amazing and your kindness will never be forgotten and level of care rendered was beyond reproach!!” -Roseann D.

“Since working for a large organization and knowing how things work, I was truly impressed with the level of care, dedication and professionalism among all the staff. The open-door policy for family communication and team/family meetings are unamendable. I could walk in to Nancy’s office any time of day and she always took time to listen and offer assistance. I’d have to say this entire organization as a whole is very impressive!” -B. Henry

“The therapy staff is terrific. They are professional, understanding, careful, and they listen to what you tell them. Everything has been excellent at Ridge Crest.” -Joyce W., resident

“This place has been magnificent! Within hours of the appointment at my wife’s primary care physician around 12pm, she was admitted to Ridge Crest by 3pm and in her room shortly thereafter that same day. The nursing staff is extraordinary! Right from day one, the nursing staff reassured her concerns and they make sure she eats her meals completely. Staff says to my wife; “last bite….last bite…” until it really is her last bite of her meals. The people you have on staff are truly extraordinary.” P. Holffman, resident’s husband

“The therapy department has been great! They get me up walking daily, most days a few times. The leg and arm exercises have really helped me gain my strength back. The therapy staff including Felice, Alison, and Brian all have been a tremendous help. The room is a very clean environment, housekeeping shows up daily, at the same time and the food is wonderful. I’m missing it while I’m currently in the hospital. I cannot wait to come back to Ridge Crest!” -T. Calka, resident

“My experience with physical therapy at Meadow Ridge could not have gone more smoothly. The staff is deep in talent. Attentive, so friendly, and exuding confidence as they patiently brought me back to full mobility.” -Sidney G., resident
