Kimberly Picone wears many hats at Meadow Ridge. As a marketing assistant, she supports the Meadow Ridge sales team from the time prospective residents first contact the community until they move in.

“I try to stay one step ahead of everyone’s needs here,” she says. “I also manage inventory, making sure we have what everyone needs so sales never have to stop.”

In addition, Kimberly works on event planning and management programs, including Meadow Ridge University, the resident referral program and the scholarship fund. She also maintains vendor relationships.

Last summer, she began working with Director of Resident Life JoAnn Brant in assisting with programming events and projects. The additional tasks are something she especially enjoys.

“It’s really nice to have the opportunity to work closely with residents and have more of that one-to-one time that I don’t get in marketing,” Kimberly explains. “I love hearing their stories and watching them thrive in the various activities we have here.”

She has been at Meadow Ridge for four years after getting her degree in marketing and customer service.

When not at work, she enjoys writing, reading non-fiction and walking.

When asked what she likes best about working at Meadow Ridge, Kimberly says, “I feel like it’s cliche, but it’s really just the residents and interacting with them—getting to know them beyond the surface and helping them with whatever they need.”
