On March 24th, 2023, the museum celebrated Jack and Rilla Neafsey, alongside Jennifer Toll, for their unwavering dedication to the museum’s mission of providing educational opportunities for children aged 10 and under. Jack Neafsey, the director of the Stepping Stones Children’s Museum for the past 20 years, has been instrumental in expanding its community impact throughout Connecticut and beyond. As a nonprofit organization, the Stepping Stones Children’s Museum relies on philanthropic leaders like Jack and Rilla Neafsey to expand its community impact. Their contributions have helped provide hands-on exhibits, engaging educational programming, and mission-critical community outreach efforts, such as the Open Arms accessibility initiative, making it possible for every child, family, and school to access the museum and its educational benefits.
