JoAnn Brant

Role and Responsibilities

JoAnn Brant serves as the director of resident life at Meadow Ridge, where she oversees all resident-related activities and fitness programming for Independent Living. Additionally, she serves as a liaison with The Salon at Meadow Ridge and the IT department. JoAnn enjoys the relationships and friendships of both residents and fellow employees.

Since joining our community in March 2015, JoAnn has played an essential role in shaping a vibrant lifestyle experience for residents by offering a wide range of engaging programs and entertainment. She also helps welcome new residents through the monthly Newcomers Lunch, which encourages connection and community from the start.

“I enjoy being part of a leadership team that works hard to make a difference in the lives of our wonderful residents,” says JoAnn.

Industry Expertise

JoAnn joined Meadow Ridge, first as a personal assistant, then as an activities assistant. In 2020, she stepped into the role of director of resident life, bringing her deep understanding of the community and resident needs to the leadership team.

Her broad experience across departments and deep personal commitment to resident well-being give her unique insight into building a vibrant, connected community.

Passion for Senior Care

JoAnn was inspired by the compassionate caregivers who supported her mother. She earned her CNA certification and worked privately for 10 years before coming to Meadow Ridge.

JoAnn is committed to creating a warm, active and inclusive community. Her passion lies in delivering meaningful experiences that enrich residents’ lives—whether through wellness initiatives, thoughtful programming or daily connection.

Career Milestones

JoAnn holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oklahoma.

Leadership Philosophy

Leading with compassion and collaboration is JoAnn’s mission. Her focus is on creating an environment where every resident feels seen, supported and welcomed—especially during their transition when moving into Meadow Ridge.

Personal Interests

Outside of work, JoAnn enjoys spending time with her husband and their two married children. She loves being outdoors, gardening and starting each day walking her dogs. She also relaxes by reading, playing board games and doing puzzles.
