Daneen Capozziello

As Ridge Crest’s Admissions Nurse, Daneen Capozziello is responsible for bringing in new patients, establishing relationships with hospital case managers and ensuring residents and their families are happy with their care during their stay at Ridge Crest.

A long-time care nurse and supervisor, Daneen’s understanding of day-to-day operations allows her to better convey to incoming residents what they can expect during their stay.

Daneen graduated as an LPN from Lincoln Technical Institute in 2011 and developed a passion for geriatrics while working at another short-term rehabilitation community. She came to Ridge Crest in 2018 as a charge nurse, supervisor and wound nurse before transitioning into her current role in 2019.

The best part of the job, she says, is establishing relationships with residents and families, helping them “navigate an often-unfamiliar setting and facilitate the best recovery and transition possible.”

In her off hours, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and shopping.
