Laura Barbieri

Laura Barbieri, Director of Resident and Family Services, embarked on her professional journey working with older adults, a commitment that has lasted for over two decades.  

“My first job out of college was with the Area Agency on Aging, and I worked in senior housing,” she says. “I found working with the elderly extremely fulfilling.” 

A licensed clinical social worker, Laura transitioned to roles within nursing facilities before ultimately finding her niche at Meadow Ridge. 

“I love it here at Meadow Ridge,” she says. “Meadow Ridge is a beautiful community that is resident-focused.” 

Today, Laura works with residents in Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Mind and Memory Care, ensuring residents, their families and the caregivers at Meadow Ridge receive the support they need.  

She emphasizes the importance of building trust and fostering meaningful relationships with residents as they navigate the challenges of aging. 

“I love that I have the ability to make connections with our residents every day,” she says. “The residents at Meadow Ridge are what make this role so special.”
